Upgrade GridOS Connect

This guide describes the tasks you need to perform to keep GridOS Connect running reliably in Foundation environments. This documentation is intended for administrators responsible for operating and upgrading customer deployments of GridOS.

Each release is tagged with the current released version of this documentation: {version}.

If you are upgrading to Connect 1.28.0 or later from a previous version, CRDs have moved to a standalone connect-crds chart. A one-time ownership transfer is required. See CRD Chart Migration for details.

To upgrade GridOS connect, you will need to do the following:

  1. Fetch the latest Helm Deployment Template bundle.

  2. Review the default chart values in the values.yaml files provided in the Helm Deployment Template.

  3. Review any custom value overrides.

  4. Run helmfile apply.
